SUMMARY:Feeding Your Demons Daylong Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Feeding Your Demons® is an accessible and effective approach for dealing with negative emotions\, fears\, illnesses\, and self-defeating patterns. It was distilled by Lama Tsultrim Allione from the teachings and practice of the 11th-century Tibetan yogini Machig Labdrön. ‘Demon’ in this case refers to any obstructive pattern including fears\, stress patterns\, addictions\, difficult emotions\, physical health challenges and more. Feeding Your Demons is a guided contemplative practice for befriending\, rather than ‘fighting’\, these patterns\, so that you may transform the energy engaged with your ‘demons’ into wisdom\, in the form of an ‘ally.’ Although developed from principles present in the Tibetan Buddhist healing practice of Chod\, Feeding Your Demons does not require any prior Buddhist knowledge or experience\, and is a secular practice. You can read more about Feeding Your Demons at the website for Tara Mandala\, Lama Tsultrim’s global organization. \nLisa Erickson\, teacher of this workshop\, is a certified Feeding Your Demons facilitator for individuals and groups\, as well as being certified to teach it in this form. She is also an energy worker and author specializing in women’s energetics\, trauma healing\, manifesting and more. You can read more about her on her website Enlightened Energetics. \nThis workshop will be taught live by zoom\, with two 3 hour sessions\, from 9am-12pm PT\, and from 1-4pm PT. There will be a 15 minute break in the middle of each session\, in addition to the 1 hour lunch break from 12-1pt. Note that a camera is required for certain portions of the session\, as the process involves being able to see participants nod that they are ready to move on when being guided. \nCost for this workshop is $50. Note that this workshop does not qualify someone to work with clients or other partners outside of this practice group for Feeding Your Demons.
